Oliver Moretti is a stepson of Joey Coupet.
Biography[]
Oliver was born in Jake Moretti and an unknown mother. At one point his parents had another son, Brandon. Through unknown means, his parents marriage ended and his father remarried astronaut Joey Coupet. He and his brother considered her their mother. When Joey volunteered for a one way mission to Mars, he berated his stepmother for abandoning them. However she was dropped due to a heart condition. Eventually, Joey volunteered to become an Uploaded Intelligence and a private line was set up so that her family could communicate with her.
After the Internet Shutdown, two teenagers- Caspian Keyes and Maddie Kim- arrive at his house and inform Oliver and his family about the flaw that all UIs have upon uploading. After things get heated, his family and Pasha tell Oliver and Brandon to go upstairs. On the way up, the boys take the drive containing the cure. Once in Oliver’s room, he plugs in the drive as Brandon asks to play with one of his figurines. He gives Brandon one and, as soon as it is put on a device, it begins talking in phrases other than its prerecorded dialogue and Reign of Winter appears on the computer. The brothers realize the voice is coming from the drive as it introduces itself as MIST, a Cloud Intelligence. The three have fun until Jake and Caspian enter and take the drive. They notice their father holding his gun and Pasha stays behind with them, telling the boys stories about her and Joey. Once Joey is cured, the brothers dawn virtual reality headsets to see their display her new power.

Oliver is a boy of Italian descent with brown hair, blue eyes, and a tan complexion.
Personality[]
Oliver is serious and caring, fearing for the safety of his loved ones and speaking his mind when he feels as such. He is also fun loving, enjoying MIST's company and music.
