You're the joke. ‘The Humans’. A stupid name for a hate group. Petty. Not that destroying Heaven 'cause you can't get in isn't petty, but... well, at least I'm honest about why I'm here.
The Humans was a violent non-state actor and hate group formed by embodied humans to oppose Uploaded Intelligences and Cloud Intelligences. Led by the former CEO of Logorhythms, Julius Pope, the group carried out bombings against data centres, such as the Covilhã data centre, and released a newly-sentient SafeSurf into the Cloud.

Prior operations[]
For their existence, the group has carried out terror attacks on anything related to UIs and CIs, often referring to them as the machines.
Covilhã bombing[]
In one incident, the group carried out a heist at a data center in Covilhã, Portugal. They infiltrated a factory looking for information on the whereabouts of SafeSurf. In order to cover their tracks, they destroyed the data center, taking out one hundred million UIs in the process.
Liberation of and Release of SafeSurf[]
Once the location of SafeSurf is learned, the group finds their way to the factory and kill many of the guards before uploading SafeSurf on a drive. After doing do, Pope and a small group of members make their way to Svalbard and infiltrate the Data Center. Pope and another man go in and, when they get close, Pope kills his companion and goes on ahead.
Pope makes it to a port and plugs in SafeSurf, hoping to wipe out the UIs as he is unable to become one. However, unbeknownst to him, SafeSurf came to view the UIs as the rightful life forms on Earth and it plans on exterminating embodied humans as a gift for joining them. SafeSurf controlled robots attack Pope as he pleads for his life. His cries go unfulfilled as he is thrown over the railing and falls to his death. The members waiting outside are taken out by a drone.

The Humans consist of Embodied humans who, for various reasons, do not trust UIs and CIs. Some do not like how dependent society has become on UI and CIs while others are angry that they are unable to upload due to a felony conviction. Others simply do not like the idea of uploading human minds in general.
